The State v. Chester Hollman III
On August 20, 1991 student Tae Jung Ho was robbed and murdered as he walked home one night in downtown Philadelphia. A witness saw a white SUV and partial plates flee the scene, and within minutes police located the SUV with partial plates that matched. Chester Hollman III was driving that SUV, out for a drive with a friend. Chester was convicted of the murder of Ho, though he professed and maintained his innocence, and years later evidence emerged as to the real killer.
